Retirement Age

Mandatory retirement (Retirement Age) is the age at which persons who hold certain jobs or offices are required by statute to step down, or retire. Typically, mandatory retirement is justified by the argument that certain occupations are either too dangerous (military personnel) or require high levels of physical and mental skill (air traffic controllers, airline pilots). However, since the age at which retirement is mandated is often somewhat arbitrary and not based upon an actual physical evaluation of an individual person, many view the practice as a form of age discrimination, or ageism.

The normal age for retirement in Canada is 65, however one cannot be forced to retire at that age. Labour laws in the country do not specify a retirement age. Age 65 is when federal Old Age Security pension benefits begin, and most private and public retirement plans have been designed to provide income to the person starting at 65 (an age is needed to select premium payments by contributors to be able to calculate how much money is available to retirees when the leave the program, ie, retire).

Dress Up Games

Dress-up (Dress Up Games) is a game played mainly by children. It involves dressing up, usually to impersonate someone or something, like an animal or character in a fairy tale. The type of clothes they dress up in often resembles who they are trying to be, either adults' clothing or special play clothes designed specifically for dress-up like feather boas and jewelry.

More and more teens are taking to the internet to talk with friends, shop and play games. In recent years, the most popular girls games have been dress up and fashion games which allow girls to dress and customize virtual dolls, go shopping and complete challenges. The newest virtual dress up sites allow users to make new friends and chat with other users while they play with their pretend dolls.

French Football Team

The France national football team or French Football Team represents the nation of France in international footy. It is fielded by the French Footy Federation and competes as a member of UEFA.

France was one of the three European teams that participated at the inaugural World Cup in 1930 and are one of six national teams to have won the competition, which they did in 1998 when they hosted the Cup. They defeated Brazil 3–0 in the final. France and England share the record of having one World Cup victory. France has also won six UEFA European Footy Championships, winning the first in 1984, led by Ballon d'Or winner Michel Platini, and the latest in 2000, led by FIFA World Player of the Year Zinedine Zidane. Following France's 2001 Confederations Cup victory, they became, along with Argentina, the only national teams to win the six most important men's titles organized by FIFA: the FIFA World Cup, the FIFA Confederations Cup, and the Olympic Match.
